Rapeseed cake

Rapeseed press cake is a by-product obtained during the mechanical pressing of rapeseed. It serves as a supplement to other plant-based feed that may be deficient in essential amino acids required for proper animal nutrition. It is used for feeding pigs, cattle, sheep, and poultry.

Its high energy value and high protein content, combined with the reduced level of alkenyl glucosinolates in double low „00” rapeseed varieties to a level not exceeding 25 micromoles per gram, make rapeseed press cake an attractive component of compound feed.
